Long also back on the bench meaning we have 1 senior outfield player on the bench. I worry how fit he actually is though.

We just can't catch a break at the moment with injuries, literally as one or 2 come back another couple are out. Bring on January, I don't hold much hope out again today, hard to compete at the moment when every week we can barely make a sub so relying on the same 11.

Not even trained once yet apparently so I wouldn't expect anything more than a late cameo and that's only if the game isn't over and done with.

At least Offord is back for Newport. Hopefully Nevitt and Thomas are just out as a precaution given the packed schedule. Not sure we'll be able to register new signings in time for Bradford but hopefully we'll have at least 2 in for Mansfield.

Seems White going to Stockport not as forgone a conclusion as that tit O'Rourke said too. Has told the fans today outside the Bescot that he's not going anywhere.

Barrow score inside a minute. Goal blatantly offside as our goalkeeper is in front of Whitfield but liner clearly forgets that rule as he thinks Horsfall is playing him on and doesn’t raise his flag.

Funny how often that gets missed.

Wrexham looking comfortable so far at Swindon. They look a lot worse so far than at our place.

The Barrow attack was under his radar.

Bit of confusion in our game as McClean scores for us. Ref immediately blew his whistle to stop McClean from goading the Home fans, but it made it seem like he was disallowing the goal.

Felt a bit for grimsby today, that first 30 minutes they put out was the best i’ve seen up there with the first half against stockport and wimbledon, though any sympathy was limited to the comments of artell before the game and antics during the game.

The 2nd half we just clicked and rinsed grimsby, they didn’t close to our shadows let alone players, though our finishing was woeful. still onwards.

Well that Penalty from Ironside just sums up how pitiful we are, we are just limping towards January

Donny getting a ridiculously soft pen and the guy doing a silly run up and putting it miles wide has livened this possession-fest up a bit.

Game over and again the defence and midfield ball watch instead of looking for runners absolutely shite

Davies shite, Booth shite. If we don't sign an upgrade at goalkeeper in January then we're plummeting down the table.

Zero goals in this side if we continue to play so narrow and get countered at will.

You would have been screaming for it at the other end, a push is a push blame your defender for doing it

I would, but as it’s happened about 37 times at the other end this season to Langstaff specifically and we’ve had exactly zero penalties for it, my assumption is they’re not giving them.

Lovely move and goal that. Look a lot closer to our best last couple of games.

Pretty pathetic from us today. Should have got one in the first half, which Mansfield still shaded, but second half was one way traffic. We don’t have the players to play any particular brand of football and the defence is just so weak. Not sure where we go from here really.

Both sides had chances in the first half despite either playing particularly well, but Grimsby got absolutely battered in the second half, if anything it’s a tad embarrassing we did not score in the second. A cricket score on another day.

I bet we had about 40 shots in total, it was just chance after chance wasted.

Didn’t have moving Langstaff into midfield as the thing to sort us out, but it’s working. Suddenly got someone upfront who can hold the ball up and no one knows who’s meant to be marking Macca, finding space all over.

Caveat is that Donny are very bad, no pressure on the ball at all. Bostock pretty much got a cigar on, 82% possession ffs.

We were utter dog shite for 40 minutes and then DC makes a double change and we spring into life.

Barrow definitely deserve their lead based on the game but their first was definitely offside and I’d like a look at their second as well.

0:0 but a great first half with both teams working hard. Town should be up as we've let chances pass but Stanly will feel they should have scored when a mistake by Dooley led to a 1 on 1 with the keeper which was kicked clear by Belshaw for a corner.

2-1 up at HT against Stockport, but the game is far from over. They pulled one back in the 2nd min of injury time when a Powell shot took a nick off someone and wrong footed Farman.

Lowly Grimsby seem to be struggling.

Doncaster are struggling to see any of the ball, 14% possession in the first half is frankly embarrassing at any level.

Christ knows how we aren't two or three up here. Always the chance they will snatch an equaliser if it carries on as it is.

You’ll struggle to find a more one sided half than that second today, it’s just a shame it does not reflect in the scoreline. I do agree Grimsby started the game quite well mind, Pym had to make some good saves in the first. Grimsby keeper definitely their MOTM, and #19 for them was absolutely atrocious.

Yeah that second half was just ridiculous, there was one chance where I turned to my lad and just laughed it was a cross from your left and a completely unmarked header with Cartwright just stood there and your guy still headed it wide.
When your first went in I felt pretty sick and I though we were really unlucky at that point and then by the end I’m thinking how the fuck have we got away with only being 2 goals down.

#15 Harry Clifton was even worse IMO.

He said before the game we would be a similar game to harrogate, which rankled a few here, though with both finishing 2-0 maybe he was right.

Throughout the game he was an embarressment, he wouldn’t leave the 4 th official alone

Artell reasoning for getting his players in Christmas Day is because they are not ‘football professionals’ but professional footballers.

Boring bastard.
