A soft red made things a lot harder than they should have been. But a solid three points against a not very good Swindon. What has happened to them?

Coming back from 2-0 down away against the form team in the division I’ll take that.

Subs from DC got us back into it and we were well on top for a period at 2-2 but Wild put the big lad up top, went long and took advantage of us having not having a proper DM and won lots of second balls and created a couple of great chances.

Fingers crossed we’ve got a LB/LWB lined up for January because Touray was once again woeful when we had the ball.

Great win under the circumstances, would be nice to stop getting players sent off though and kill games off when we are on top.

Swindon were wasteful but so were we.

Artell reasoning for getting his players in Christmas Day is because they are not ‘football professionals’ but professional footballers.

Boring bastard.

Just was an odd interview.

I thought from afar he did a good job at crewe and grimsby appear to have picked up on grimsbys form. As said that first 30 from grimsby was up there with the best i’ve seen from opposition team this season, and had they got the first goal could’ve been a different game.

5 conceded in 10 home games though, christ were boring

Pretty pathetic from us today. Should have got one in the first half, which Mansfield still shaded, but second half was one way traffic. We don’t have the players to play any particular brand of football and the defence is just so weak. Not sure where we go from here really.
I’m more concerned now than at the end of the Hurst tenure. The bigged up improvement in the quality of the squad changes in the summer just hasn’t transpired and our near best in class resilience of the past two seasons has fallen off a cliff. I looked at bench today and immediately thought we better not get any injuries. When we did the promising start just imploded.

It all feels a bit Hartlepool at the moment…

Genuinely annoyed we’ve not won that 7-0. It was like being in the National League again with how easy and one-sided it was. Donny were dismal.

Great draw for us that, no doubt about it. Barrow definitley the least happy with the draw today. Wild's slowness to respond tactically let us back into the game when we shocking. Get through this Christmas period, get a few bodies in, big players back in Feb.

2-2 with Stockport, probably a fair result and noth sets of fans would have taken it at the start. 5866 at the game, would have been over 6000 if Stockport had sold all their tickets.
Not sure why George Ray's late goal was disallowed.

You shouldn't have been wanting that before the game. We're at our weakest personnel wise, you've been superb at home and in great form. And at 2-0 up, it's borderline a bad result for you IMO.

A Christmas miracle in SW19/SW17 as Sutton beat Wimbledon 1-0.

We were as good as I’ve seen us in a very long time, for once looking solid at the back, and strong in midfield. We looked like the Sutton of 2021.

South London is Amber.

I thought that was a great game. Played some good stuff first half but Stockport are a top quality side and were still well in the game even at 2-0. I can't see anyone beating them to the title.

Challinor will be browsing the wines and spirits section on the Tesco website tonight with a wry smile, wondering if he can pick up some post-Christmas bargains in readiness for May.

On occasions you genuinely feel a tad sorry for the other team, clubs, supporters. Today was one of those days.

We will are very unlikely to have a more comfortable league double of a team this season. Both home and away , the clearly better side and in control throughout.

Tougher tests ahead including Tranmere next up after their impressive win today.

A good game, and felt like a fair result - as the Stockport fans say there were question marks about our first, we were denied a blatant penalty at 2-0 and strange decision to rule out the winner when Horsfall was down for ages before the ref decided to blow up. Haven’t seen any replays though, so all of the above could be bollocks.

Foul on Ethan Pye. I think it was the right decision but so many bodies it was hard to tell.

Your first should have been ruled out for offside anyway so you’ve definitely not been hard done by.

Rotten first half from us and Morecambe more than deserved their lead. We improved a bit in the second half and merited a point but I think we showed today how easy it is to play against this long ball style if you're a half decent side with a game plan.

I bet we had about 40 shots in total, it was just chance after chance wasted.
You’re just making yourself look silly now mate with all of this exaggerating.

It was just the 39.

A clichéd end to end match, we certainly got our money's worth today. I was impressed by Accrington's youngsters especially O'Brian who effectively kept Odoh quiet for the whole match. Town came back from 1:0 down to win 2:1 which felt like the right result.

Next up is Tranmere who will no doubt be full of confidence after their win today.

Oh look, the Alex being utterly wank on Boxing Day, what else is new? About as predictable as getting Lynx Africa for Christmas.

Spare a word for referee Scott Jackson. That guy has no place reffing Sunday League football, let alone in the EFL. Power mad idiot who doesn't seem to understand the basic rules of what is and isn't a foul.

But, no excuses for what was a shambles of a performance. Everything good about us from the first 15 or so games has just disappeared. Can't do anything well, can't defend, can't attack, can't control games or apply pressure. Just woeful and it doesn't help when the management are putting the 2 quickest players in the team in number 10 roles which nullifies everything they are good at. Woeful day.

Dreadful first half but much better in the second. Osadebe had one of the worst performances I've ever seen. I'd have taken anyone on this forum over him any day of the week. Will go against my fellow Bantams for a change: I don't think Morecambe were great or deserved their lead. Typical League Two antics throughout too, coupled with that Drysdale made large of that game extremely tedious and frustrating. When we upped it in the second half we were far the better side.

Been impressed with Alexander so far. He's not doing anything groundbreaking, he's just instilled a few of the qualities that we've been lacking under the previous few managers. The only thing he's got wrong so far is the complete omission of Pointon. Not sure if he's injured or not favored at all. He was our best player against Grimsby and the two following games but hasn't had a sniff under Alexander.

Stockport on Friday. I'll be working. Lovely.

Astonishing result for us. Gives us a bit of hope. Bet we messed up several accumulators today.

Terrible weren’t they, and probably even more worryingly for them, really badly managed. Was like a template of how not to play against us, no pressure on the ball at all.

We got exactly what we deserved against Sutton today. We were shocking. Simple as that.

We've managed to drop below Sutton after impressively shipping 4 goals in 24 minutes at Newport. Not the best Boxing Day we've had.

Boring bastard.

Troy Deeney took our whole squad down the pub on Christmas Eve and then gave them Christmas Day off. Proper man management that.

Artell was exactly the embarrassment I remember him to be. Could see Grimsby being dragged into a relegation battle with that sort of performance today.
