Tranmere 1-0 up, Norwood from a Connor Jennings and Andy Cook build up. Hope to see more of that!

I thought we played pretty well, but much like last season, couldn't put a game away and they scored with their only attempt on goal. Greenhalgh was excellent as was Flish til he went off; makes me feel better about the season.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
My team Curzon are 5-0 down at home to Kiddy and only played 40 mins.

Talk about a bad start!

0-0 at half time. We've had a disallowed goal and they've had one cleared off the line. We've had more possession without really threatening whereas they've looked fairly dangerous in their rare attacks. I'd forgotten what a physical side Dover are. If they aren't pushing people over they are throwing themselves on the floor. Hasn't helped that the referee seems new to football. Could go either way this.

1-0 Lincoln here, Marriott. Woking, err, haven't been very good so far.

Slightly disappointed to have not come away with all 3 points tbh. Feel York's superior stamina levels and a bit of naivety on our part is what led to their goal, I'd rather we learned those lessons now and still draw than further down the road and collapse to defeat though, so it's all good.

Either we're woeful, or Dagenham are going to walk this league. There's a fair chance it's both.

Sounds like we've been pretty good and could have had a few more. Can't read too much in to the first game though either way.

It's a fair reflection. Our loanee keeper has been our man of the match.
Sounds like you've caught us on a good day.

Very pleased to kick off with a win, especially at home. It was months before we won our first home game last season.

Finished Eastleigh 2-1Guiseley. Silly, avoidable defensive mistakes gifted Eastleigh both goals first half.
Disappointed not to equalise after a much more positive second half display from Guiseley.
With the money Eastleigh have invested I feared the worst today to be honest but am now much more positive.

Well, I didn't believe their fans on here before, but actually they're right - Woking are terrible, and probably in for a relegation battle.

Didn't get out of third gear. RAMPANT.

But I thought FGR were saturated with goals and were going to romp the league?

Dover can probably feel aggrieved at not winning that. But both teams need to improve if either are to trouble the play offs. Dover looked better when Emmanuel came on. Kinnear should get rid of his son though. Absolute dog shit and a cheat to boot.

The main thing for us will be keeping expectations in check if we score quite a few tomorrow, which I reckon we will obviously. It's important that we don't start thinking this league is too easy.

Got to concentrate on every game. If we do and everything clicks, wow.
