I wasn't referring to how you played, it just seems that whoever you play are cheating, dirty bastards while you have 11 Mother Theresas playing for you.

I think the point is we didn't appreciate our players getting kicked to bits in a pre season friendly two weeks before the season risking losing them for the start of the campaign. I don't see the issue with that myself! Crewe fans spent years moaning about it in competitive games for instance but in a friendly it's about fitness not picking pieces of your squad of the pitch.

We had a player rupture ankle ligaments vs AFC Wimbledon last Saturday. It was a bad challenge and throughout the game there were a few meaty tackles. That said, neither side is aiming to cause damage and it could just as easily be one of theirs out for months. Just have to accept it as one of those unfortunate things.

I didn't even know we had a game! What sort of team did we put out?

Having seen the highlights, the kids by the looks of it. Came back from 2-0 down, Tom Hadler saving a penalty and making a number of class saves, he looks a real prospect.

Beating Altrincham 1-0 Inman after 50 seconds.

Inman looking sharper and hungrier than last season. Hopfully we get the Inman of a couple of seasons ago, would be like new signing for us.

Just drawn 1-1 with Bolton.

They took the early lead with Vela scoring a nice goal and Madden equalised for us from the penalty spot. Sounds like we played very well and looked impresive.

Getafe CF in town tomorrow, should be a good un! Must be our first Saturday friendly at home for a couple years and rather than Walsall or something like in the past we have a bit of a glam one (as friendlies go).

West Brom for us. Probably our 3rd defeat in 3 against Prem clubs so far this pre season :dk:

2-1 up against Getafe at half time, they are class on the ball but defensively meh! AJ Leitch Smith with both and looks class. Need him to take it into the season though but so far willing to give him the chance at least.

Getafe are actually pretty filthy though! Red card for elbowing then booted the ball out the stadium when the second went in. Quite funny!

Beat Stevenage 1-0 at the Lamex courtesy of a Mark Beevers header. Sounds like we absolutely dominated and it should have been a few more, but worryingly our strikers can't seem to find their shooting boots.

2-2 very enjoyable that. Better side second half but succumbed to a huge deflection. Awesome piece of play by Uche saw him hit the post. On first viewing AJLS has incredible movement and hope we can get the potential out that Crewe and Yeovil didn't. Sam Kelly looks very good. Uche is a beast but looks like he could get frustrated easily. Andoh is like a bullet and one to watch. Main concern is Neal being out. Johnson was terrible for their first goal!

Positive and a good confidence booster against a side that will be playing at Bernabeu and Nou Camp next season.

Drew 1-1 with a fairly strong Villa team.

They were poor, we were same old Walsall, neat passing but not much going forwards with Tom looking isolated. Milan Lalkovic was very good though and our midfield did very well against Villa's. Overall a promising result and display.

Not really a friendly but we beat Lincoln United 5-2 in the Lincolnshire Senior Cup, Luke Daniels, Andrew Boyce, Terry Hawkridge, Kyle Wootton and Kevin Van Veen the first team squad members playing.
