Can’t comment on the game as I wasn’t there but as we’ve said a million times the squad is no where near good enough, a few decent players bogged down by too many that in all honestly are not league standard. We genuinely could do with four or five at least first team standard recruits come January.

If we need five first team standard players then we might get one. Seems to be Gent's hit ratio when it comes to signings.

Well, when 2 out of our 3 supposed CBs are being asked to play as ball carrying defenders up the pitch it’s hardly surprising we lack numbers, nous, physicality and any sign of a defensive ‘system’. It’s a continual loop of shooting ourselves in the foot with piss poor organisation. That’s on Flynn. There’s no way he can turn the players he recruited into some form of competent defence. We’re stuck with kamikaze football. Staring into the abyss.

He's an absolute wanker. I can't stand him. I can't bare to click play on the video, it will spoil my night.

Same. Nothing against Barrow, but I could quite happily drop-kick him into an active volcano.

I thought Swindon looked a decent side to be honest. I thought it was fairly even, both sides had spells. The difference was the mentality of the team in the winning groove vs a team in a negative rut, easy to say after the result but that's just the way it seemed to go. I didn't think we played particularly well really but we always carry a threat.

We were pathetic second half, couldn’t have complained if Tranmere had 6 or 7. Yes we’ve got injuries but the team out on the pitch wasn’t bad. Our best player is on an emergency loan.

Absolutely, it's 100% nothing against Barrow on my part either. No ill feeling towards them as a club, it's just Wild.

As I said at HT, we went excellent for the first 30 minutes but faded after that. County dominated the 2nd half, but honestly didn't create many clear cut chances. We couldn't freshen things up with 5 starters all missing. We were hanging on a bit, but again it wasn't like County had lots of chances.

I understand the frustration at the ref stopping play when he gets injured, but say a big incident happens in the penalty area that the lino can't see, what then? I think he was spot on to stop play.

As for the penalty, it was spot on. Jones' arm was way above his head when the ball hit it. What's he got to complain about? If it was at the other end, every County fan/player is screaming for it and they know it. Dry your eyes Jones.

Good game of football overall, loads of drama and incidents.

Manager coming under pressure? Can’t imagine Vince will hang around too long?

What happened to that Carlisle fan who was always on here mocking us? 'League 2 is a huge step up you'll really struggle'.

Think we could be in a higher division than them next year
He made some sweeping statements about us and then nutted in his pants when we lost on the opening day, he's not been seen since.

Depends how much he cares anymore. He took too long to sack Birchnall last year (28 games) and then sacked Big Dunc after 18 games so with 16 games gone Horseman is getting into that sacking window in terms of amount of time he’s had I would say.

Not sure us having so many injuries is enough of an excuse when we are still making the same mistakes week after week.

Be surprised if Notts don't hit us for six or seven next week. It's on SKY. I won't be watching.

I think this is fair overall apart from the slightly generous take on the ref injury thing. But I probably won’t think the handball was fair because I hate penalty handballs, probably think like 1 in 50 or something is actually correct, but I haven’t seen it.

Overall it was a tight, relatively uneventful game between two good teams that was drifting towards a fair enough 0-0 until the ref tweaked his hamstring and managed to start world war three somehow.

Didn't deserve to lose. Crewe started much better but we were the clear better side for the majority of the game.

Draw comfortably the fairest result but it's football and that doesn't always happy. Thought it was a penalty.

Crazy ending. Poor behaviour. Great numbers paying the full whack.

Judge for yourself. I think if that's at the other end, your lot are screaming for it.

As for the ref, he cannot let play go on. If the ball heads to opposite corner from the lino and a serious incident happens like a penalty shout, a red card or a potentially serious injury, the ref has to be in a position to get there quickly and make a judgement. If he's still hobbling 70 yards away, thats a serious problem. He has to stop the game.

As I said, I get the frustration that it came when you were on the counter attack. But I just don't think he can let the play carry on.

Easy for me to say as I wasn't at the game, but as a result with the situation in midfield and Crewe being a decent team it's not the end of the world. Hopefully Bostock will be back soon and Gosling can play more of a part.

Looks a pen based on the video above, not the clearest on my phone but they give anything where your arm is out like that on the current rules.

Blatant pen for me, knows what he's doing jumping up like that.

Classic Notts though, keeper a mile out of his goal for no reason whatsoever.

Never a pen for me, he’s about half a yard away trying to block it. And yes, I’d say the same the other way, I absolutely despise handball penalties.

That isn’t really our main complaint though anyway. Never happened without the ref limping off and the absolute chaos that caused, just play that until it’s natural conclusion and it’s full time about twenty seconds later.

We've just drawn 0-0 in a pretty dull game. You'll be safe

Our defence has Ash Taylor in it. Only two league games this season where we've scored more than one goal, too. You should be breezing past us.

Much needed win for Tranmere in the battle of the Rovers. First half was fairly even, on another day the teams could have gone in level at h/t. However even before the second yellow, we had got a second, good finish from Dennis after Connor Jennings picked him out, though the visitors might have marked/pressed more. Great solo goal from Blackpool loanee Apter for the third and with Norris and Pike hitting the woodwork and a couole of decent saves from the FGR keeper kept the score down to 3.

Big blow losing Luke Norris and his reaction head in hands and banging the pitch in frustration before pulling himself off suggests it’s a bad one. Just as we finally try 442.

Thought Forest Green looked like they have some reasonable players but don’t think the manager got the script right today. Troy Deeney did a lot of good pre-match PR stuff but was a bit subdued on the pitch. Liked the look of some of the youngsters like Bunker and think Forest Green should have enough to stay up. Meanwhile we have another 6 pointer at Sutton, lose that and this win will count for very little.

I'm really not sure where we are headed and have a dreadful feeling that our club is on the verge of imploding...which may sound a bit dramatic...but it really seems like the fans are finally ready to turn on Dale Vince, at least judging by a few comments on our forum where there are fans willing to risk dropping down a few divisions, if that is what it takes, to be rid of him.

There is no denying that he rescued our club when he took over but it seems that it is just there for promotion of his values, I don't think it even crosses his mind that the fans may have different ones, or that football is even a priority any more.

If I was to tell him just one thing, and I don't for a minute suspect he would pay any attention, it would be that we (the fans) are the club and he is just the caretaker while he is in charge...we will be there long after he is gone.

Wasn't meant to be morecambes day today ,but still being in the playoff position with 27 points with 1 ,2 games in hand on teams around is a good place to be .Just a few weeks before the start of the season we had 6 players on the books ,were up for sale and at present are still up for sale ,the loan players and the other players Derek has got in on probably 1 of the leagues smallest budgets have exceeded all of our expectations, the loses are hard but with this very young team we will carry on surprising people

Running battles all around the ground now, never seen anything like it. The ref has caused anarchy haha.
That linesman was the most incompetent prick I've seen in decades. The spineless prick wouldn't even go back to his side to finish the game.
Never seen Notts fans as riled as that. It was handball but the ball was blasted at him from two yards away and he couldn't do a thing about it. The ref waves play on, lino keeps his flag down then about fifteen seconds after the event after Crewe fans have a go at him he puts his flag up.
He got four offsides blatantly wrong, one was about three feet offside and he waved play on, I was on the halfway line and he was continually behind the play. Absolute shocker of a performance by him.
Crewe fans on the pitch, police nowhere to be seen. Proper back to the 80's today.
