Away at Orient. Whenever they're mentioned, I always think of Gary Taylor-Fletcher.

Anyway, it sounds like we've come through Saturday with no new injuries, which is a big relief! We were supposed to have Jack Vale with us last Monday but he got injured in a behind closed doors friendly for Blackburn to get minutes in his legs and is out again.

We're at Posh on Saturday so we need something from this one. Don't think Jackson will play, he doesn't do midweek games as we manage his minutes, so either Mitchell (who wasn't in the squad on Saturday) or Eyoma will come in. Suspect Burroughs will return at the expense of Brown at LWB and Kennedy must be very tempted to start Mandroiu and give him 60 minutes before bringing Bishop on.

How has Archibald stepped up to L1 football? And how's Sanders doing? I'm going to guess his appearances have been a bit stop/start due to injuries.

18 years since we last played each other after playing each other for 10 out of 11 seasons before hand....!

We will make changes due to injuries. Beckles is definently out with a groin issue suffered Saturday, Drinan is ill, Forde had to go to hospital after a cut in his knee got infected and Jordan Graham has a dodgy hamstring.

Happe will come in at CB, Piggott and Moncur will keep their places.

Sanders hasn't played much due to injury, then we got all our injured players up to speed and he wasn't in the squad at all, he played last week in EFL trophy but made an awful mistake and gifted Fulham a goal. He may well start tomorrow as Wellens will change things.

Archibald will start, he fits Wellens style very well but he isn't the most clinical in terms of his finishing and final pass which unless he improves he won't play higher.

We will as always dominate possession at some point in the game, but we struggle to score when were on top. If we score first we'll likely get something from the game. Landing the first blow in a game is vital for us because we tend to manage games well when we have something to hold onto. We're also shaky at se plays, missing Beckles doesn't help us with this as he's our most dominant CB.

Crikey, is it that long ago?! We kept missing each other as we both got relegated/promoted over the years.

Lineup is odd. No real striker on the pitch, Devine playing who I don't think is quite up to it yet. Sang at wingback which he clearly doesn't look comfortable with. Massey, who did well when he came on on Saturday but is never a striker. Debra making his debut.

I'm fearing the worst here.

None of that has happened (Mitchell not in the squad again, though).

Same as Saturday, which is a surprise. I thought we'd make changes with 4 games in 10 days.

Pack out for us after suffering injury from Wykes red card challenge at the weekend.

Potentially a big loss for us but highly rated Anjorin in to start. Doesn’t look match fit yet so be interested in how he does.

Plenty of midfield quality but zero up front and two midfielders at wing back.

Could be a long night. Rovers score they probably win as can’t see us scoring there.

Odd not starting Thomas when he’s a striker if your resting Wilson.

Happy Jesse Debrah is to get his first start as he’s looked very good and a big presence but injuries taking their toll now with no Chislett, Clarke, Loft and the Yak and Grant not ready for 90 minutes twice in 3 days.

Pretty much a 3-7-0 line up!

Unchanged for us from the side that beat Carlisle at the weekend.

Might not be the best to make zero changes given that that side had a 36- and a 37-year old starting, but we’ll see.

As expected, we've gone to a back 4. Paul Huntington sits tonight out, with Alfie McCalmont coming in to add to the midfield. Garner and Maguire could make an interesting combination up front. Tough night ahead though...

Fleetwood player dives to win a free kick and they score from it. Just nothing going our way.

Pompey far the better side for the first 10 mins or so, then we started to find our counter-attacking rhythm a little bit more, but still with barely any clear cut chances.

We bagged a scrappy goal on 22 minutes, and have been mostly defending since, with the odd counter-attack.

Pompey certainly seem to have plenty of attacking threat, so I can't imagine we'll keep the clean sheet, but this is probably about as good an HT score as we could have hoped for in the circumstances.

A long long way to go though, and zero chickens will be counted here.

Beaten ourselves, sloppy play to concede, again despite dominating the ball and tearing their left back to bits we’ve got good balls in but had no one to finish and then Jesse Debrah gets sent off and game over.

Furious with the first yellow as he doesn’t contact Collins and the referee is useless (again), Devine booked for absolutely nothing .

That said on a booking Debrah was stupid to make that challenge.

Get key players off now and focus on Saturday especially with this referee.

Annoying. Great pass from Cole for our goal then Scott really should have got a second. But Charlton did get a lot of corners and finally we defended poorly right at the end of the half to concede.
Thats a real body blow

We knew what he was like from last season. Stupid from Debrah.

We've got into a number of really good situations and dominated possession but we have nothing up front.

There are very few surprises in the way this game is going. We could all see it before the game.

Poor team selection, lack of goal threat, non league player making his debut in a key possession, clown of a referee all equals a comfortable home win.

I don't think Rovers have been that good but this game is being handed to them on a plate.

You did see what was the most blatant penalty in the history of football not given?

Stevenage don't look a bad side. I don't know if they will finish top 6 but top 10 certainly looks possible.

Poor first half from us. So lightweight up front, Adelakun should have done better when through. Leyton Orient look tidy and comfortable. Roughan mistake (which he seems to have in him, and an easy tap in from Piggott. Not sure what we'll do 2nd half to impact.

When flicking through, caught the 2nd Bristol R goal, horrendous defending from Port Vale, so much space in the middle for the header. No one near him.

Doesn’t exactly even it up as we’ve got an hour with 10 men! First one was a farce.

One sloppy goal given away early, and a random ricochet from a clearance at a corner for the second.
That said, Barnsley are very dominant of possession and look pretty slick, so even more annoying that we gave them a goal start.
We’ve had two very good chances but haven’t put them away - hard to see us getting back into this one as Barnsley are so good at hanging in to the ball.

If we have a striker of any calibre on the field we’ve probably scored a couple, Garrity has to score and we’ve had three or four balls pinball around the box but no one with the instinct to get into those positions.

Some lovely football again but bugger all up front and again two absolutely farcical goals to concede.

Sorry but you can have absolutely 0 complaints. A first yellow that could be deemed harsh, sure. But your man's on a yellow and goes sliding in (potentially with studs up) on our player from behind/side after he's already passed the ball - and you blame the ref for the first yellow? Your man's lost his head, he can't be acting like that knowing he's on a yellow.

Then a stonewall pen not given which would make it 3-0 and you think you've been done hard done by?

Weird one, Vale looked really good on the ball tbh. Fast paced and very dangerous, just no one in the box to aim at.

Then we scored a nice goal (awful defending, McCormick is hardly a tall player) and looked in control. After the red its been one way traffic and the 2nd was appaling defending.

First is a dive. (Actually seeing it back he’s tripped over himself!) The images show he didn’t actually touch your lad on the second, 10 v 11 is game over. He’s given you the game there. The penalty is probably in response to the red but then he’s booked Devine when your keepers play acted.

Maybe its a Stoke thing to complain about the refs.

Just saw Southampton score at Stoke and the fans chant '1-0 to the referee'.
