Liverpool's transfer window looking increasingly shit.

I'd rather we did no deals if Salah for £34m is the sort of business we end up doing.

How can we know about a player for 3 years. Could've brought the player (presumably we were interested) last season for £14m. Only to spend £34m this season for his services.

Even in this market we could find a much cheaper alternative.

Marca report that Morata dyed his hair red prior to his proposed United move, only to shave it off when the deal fell through.

No matter. He can dye it blue now.

£34m for Salah is very much the going rate for a player of his quality at the moment.

About £7.5m in 2007 money. Andy Carroll might actually be worth £35m in today's market.

Aye I know, but its been updated that a fee has been agreed so its looking definite. £5 mill isn't too shabby either.

£57 mill bid rejected for Keita, which is exactly the figure I suggested they'd bid for him elsewhere, and that would get rejected, but I believe £63 mill will get the job done. Also work is being done behind the scenes on VVD too and both clubs are talking.

Just checked our forum for the latest on VvD and no, you aren't. Stop trying to be the new G-Dragon/Snortingfrogs.

I expect there's also a reason why you're now considering playing Mamadou Sakho again.

Jacob Murphy linked with Newcastle for £10-15m I think. I'm lead to believe Norwich have cloned him to prepare for this situation.

Liverpool are close to signing Scotland left-back Andy Robertson from Hull City. [Guardian]

Seen a lot of noise about Robertson lately, the majority of Twatter have gone into complete meltdown and it's hilarious because he's not a big name.

I quite like him personally and think he'll offer plenty.

I'm very pessimistic when it comes to our transfers, I never rate them don't watch youtube and buy regens on FM but this Keita guy has actually got me a bit excited. All reports say that he's really, really good.

Now let's get that defender and we could challenge for the title imo. There I said it and I don't even feel shit about it yet.
You say this now but I hope you are well prepared to handle the stick if you get it wrong. The treatment bullies such as Smat and Steven give you is cold, man. I had to seek treatment.

Indeed, because his name doesn't end in -inho and he's from Scotland, people just assume he's crap. He'll be a decent addition providing cover for Milner.

8 mil for Robertson or 60+ for pace but no brain mendy? Easy choice. Robertson will be a starter for us as the season progresses imo.

I don't think LB is a high priority this season, hence why Liverpool weren't in for the bigger names. Cover is what is needed just now whilst they concentrate on fleshing out the squad elsewhere.

That information came from a Twitter account that has since been deleted.

Fully expect the bin dippers to jizz their pants in excitement if VvD isn't involved in our friendly today.

£5 MIL for Lucas is surely a typo? They've missed off a zero.

Robertson for £8m is a really good signing, I'd have liked him here as Baines' understudy then long term replacement

Please tell me that you're not talking about Monaco's Benjamin Mendy who's twice the player Robertson is.
